Hi folks.

Meet Dr Richard Levitan on tonight’s episode.

He revolutionised the way I thought of , approached and conducted emergency airway management. My traditional anaesthetic teachings and techniques , he refined and challenged me to improve. And they have.

In the last 2 years since we met Richard has remained a powerhouse in the area of airway research and development. Listen to his views on the current state of play of emergency airway management and training and future concepts in surgical airway technique.

I ask his opinion about the whole VL vs DL debate…

It requires a wide range of skills and knowledge including emergency medicine, paramedicine, critical care and aeromedicine.
