  1. Brilliant podcast! This is the place I come for my ketamine knowledge. We got ketamine at the Paramedic service I work at in the north east USA about six months ago and we started out with using it exclusively for awake intubation in the predicted difficult airway and for the excited delirium pt. We are still fleshing out how to use it best in the prehospital setting and the use you discuss of getting rapid control of the hypoxic brain injured trauma pt is top of my list. We do get flack more often than not from the receiving ED when we use it because it’s still quite new to them and they don’t know what to make of it. Hopefully this will change as we continue to get good outcomes .
