Hi folks, I was planning to podcast anyway on prehospital STEMI, when tonight, @EM_Educator tweets out his own ECG showing an inferior STEMI! So I recorded this podcast to wish him well and a speedy recovery as well as talk about my change from morphine to fentanyl in managing acute STEMI chest pain. Follow Rob and wish him well on twitter please!
Show notes:
- Morphine-potentiated agonist-induced platelet aggregation through alpha2-adrenoceptors in human platelets
- Morphine May Delay Onset of New Antiplatelets in Primary PCI
- Morphine at Acute MI May Blunt Short-Term Antiplatelet Response
