Yes I have finally done it and all the thanks to Mr EmCrit himself, Scott Weingart for his help and patient mentoring!
What is this about and where is it headed?
You might be familiar with my Prehospital and Retrieval medicine podcast that Scott kindly hosted on EMCrit.org blog.
Well this is really what I have been doing there , but on my own blog so that Scott does not have to be annoyed by me emailing him materials all the time.
So there are going to be more audio podcasts, written articles and maybe even an occasional competition.
And its for folks working out there, in remote locations, outside a hospital, on aircraft, ambulances, in outposts who have to deal with emergencies and the unexpected.
My focus is rural Australia but my journey will be international , hearing from folks in other countries and how they deal with out of hospital emergencies. of course I was a flying doctor so there will be a healthy dose of aeromedicine.
I love emergency medicine, rural medicine, critical care and anaesthesia AS WELL!
