Cool idea for simulation. Also check “iLarynx” which is free in the App store (written by Ray Glassman of Northwestern University in Chicago to teach basic fiberoptic handling skills).
The straight blades are sometimes taught to go in the vallecula in peds–I don’t know how the App you just demonstrated would interpret that attempt though.
