No. If they used a weapon Australian law would most likely charge them with assault or aggravated assault.
A reasonable response would be difficult to prove if a weapon was used against an unarmed or pt with mental.
Not sure how many Australian Paramedics are assaulted with weapons. We do not need more guns out there and we certainly don’t want Paramedics jailed for Assault or Manslaughter.
