End-tidal O2 is definitively the value to use in this assessment.
What I would like to see (in other words, what I should film and post) is the time course of all these methods to reach a specific endpoint. ETO2 88% represents almost complete nitrogen washout according to my calculations.
Place BVM on volunteer with tight fitting face mask–measure time to ET 88%. Repeat with different method, etc.
Nice job, I’ll try it out when I get home from Europe in a week.
