Was reading through it, and I’m wondering how it differs from the “Kiwi Grip” and the “rings right” rotation with the Bougie. Perhaps textual descriptions don’t do their technique justice?
I also fail to see what’s new with this…. Maybe I didn’t understand the article correctly, but isn’t this just intubation with a bougie with the tube preloaded? Or is the rotation part applied before the bougie is in the trachea?
yes as far as I can tell, its a preloaded bougie with the rotation to pass tube past the arytenoids
